Make Tracks and Check Out Thunderbolt Kitchens at These Cool Events

Thunderbolt Adventure Supply is a homegrown business. As in, our workshop is attached to our home in San Francisco. Some of you have picked up your gear tunnel sled or kitchen in person. Some of you have used the "Get in Touch" form on our website to request an appointment to come see us at our shop. But since we assemble our products to order, we may not always have the model you want to check out built up.

This spring, you have a couple of opportunities to hang out with other Rivian folks and see our Camp Kitchens in action.

Arizona Rivian Club logo

The Arizona Rivian Club worked with the folks at Overland Expo West to secure a dedicated group camping area just for Rivian Club folks. The event runs from May 17th to May 19th in Flagstaff. If you've already registered, we can't wait to meet you! At the time of this writing, there are a few camping spots left. To get one, first, register your interest with the Arizona Rivian Club here, and then use the special link you receive to register for both Overland Expo and the Rivian Campground.

At Overland Expo, there will be both a Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Camp Kitchen for the R1T Gear Tunnel and an Adventure Kitchen for the R1S. There's already talk of a potluck or maybe even a cooking competition, so I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities to see both models in action!

Gary's Jamboree promo

Just one week later, over Memorial Day Weekend, the Sierra Nevada and Bay Area Rivian Clubs will host the second annual Gary's Jamboree. That's right, your favorite furry Gear Guard Gary is hosting a weekend of camping along the Cosumnes River. Participants will have the chance to practice off-roading skills at nearby Prairie City Off-Road Park. After attending last year's event, I can guarantee that this crowd likes to cook and eat great food. There will be a handful Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Camp Kitchens among the rigs so you can get an up-close look at them in action. Again, there are just a few camping spots left as I type this, so if you're interested register right away. We'll be giving away some great swag.

If these dates or locations don't work for you, do not despair. Throughout the coming year, we hope to meet more of you where you like to go adventuring. Is your local group holding an event we should check out? Let us know! Or if you're looking to connect with other folks taking on Electrified Camping, find the Rivian Club in your area and sign up for their updates.

Happy Camping!
