Thank goodness we have a truck, the stock room is full again!

We are truck people. I've told people before that we won “truck stuff bingo” the first week we owned our Rivian, going to the hardware store, the lumber yard, IKEA, and the dump. And that was before we started Thunderbolt Adventure Supply. Now, the R1T is both the why and the how for our small business.

We work with fabricators in Northern California to precision cut the components that go into our products. Just today, Matthew made the big loop from our place in San Francisco out to the Central Valley, where our aluminum parts are laser-cut, bent, and powder-coated. From there, he stopped by the Manteca RAN charger for a few electrons and a quick bathroom break at a nearby fishing superstore. From there, he drove down to Hayward to get more parts from our trusty CNC partner. Driving back home via the San Mateo bridge brings the bridge count to three. As he rolled up in front of the house, the Rivian app warned me that our truck was low on range, "Charge up when you can."

The good news is that our parts room is now full to bursting. When we launched the Overland Gear Sled and Kitchen, we had no idea what demand would be like. We've placed multiple orders for more parts. Matthew has made multiple drives out to the Central Valley and Hayward. But that means we now have the inventory to quickly turn around orders! Many thanks to the folks who hae patiently waited for their shipments. We’re almost entirely caught up! And just in time for Fourth of July Festivities.

So, if you’ve been considering ordering one of our Kitchens or perhaps one of our wildly popular Under Seat Storage Covers, now is the time!
