Giving back to the Community with Rivian and Rivian Clubs
We celebrated the opening of the Corte Madera Rivian Adventure Network location with a holiday party and toy drive and it showed us once again what an amazing community Rivian has created.
People came from all over the Bay Area and as far away as Santa Rosa and San Jose. Trucks and SUVs were adorned with inflatable snowmen, light shows and reindeer antlers. We collected two frunks with lots of toys including a Rivian Matchbox car! We also played a rousing game of RAN Bingo vying for the chance to win Rivian swag as well as donated items from us (a Center Console Bag) and Megawatts (a set of jack pucks). We heard from the Rivian RAN team about plans for more charging locations across country and enjoyed some delicious cookies.
Luckily, the parking lot adjacent to the RAN chargers was blocked off for us because there were so many trucks that we easily spilled out beyond the charging area. We made hot cocoa on our R1T Camp Kitchen and the Bay Area Rivian Club used CJ's R1S Adventure Kitchen to pass out information about the club and the RAN network in Northern California.
Many thanks to the Bay Area Rivian Club leaders for creating a great event, and the generous Rivian Community who came out and made it even better with their holiday cheer!
