Super Pacific X1 Camper + Thunderbolt Overland Kitchen = Stunning Pair

A few weeks ago, we started seeing posts on social media about an event at the Super Pacific shop in Portland, Oregon. They were getting ready to unveil their camper topper made just for the Rivian R1T. They’ve been making super cool camper toppers for other trucks for years, but the Rivian posed design challenges that other trucks did not. Super Pacific’s thoughtful and innovative solutions to those challenges suggested that we operate on similar wavelengths. 

When Josh from Super Pacific asked if we could show our kitchen in the Rivian at their X1 event, we were flattered but didn’t think we could make the timing work. But when a customer had to delay their pickup appointment, we scrambled to pack up that kitchen and ship it to Portland. And we’re so glad we did! The two products look like they’re made for each other. And they kind of are since they’re both thoughtfully designed to work with the Rivian R1T.

Unfortunately, we could not attend the party ourselves, but there was a strong showing buoyed by members of the Emerald City and Portland Rivian Clubs. Rivian Official was there offering R1S test drives. David Cottrell wrote a thorough review of both the event and the new product for RivianTrackr. And Dominic Wilkerson, one of our first customers, took some fabulous photos including the one above!

We love meeting people making outdoor equipment for adventures. We’ve been wanting to get back up to Portland, and now we have another reason to make the trip!
